EXTENDED ABSTRACT AND FULL PAPER

Regardless of having an Oral or Poster presentation, all authors must submit an Extended Abstract. This Extended Abstract will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and, then, will be published in the Conference e-Book.

The extended abstract must not exceed 1500 words. Authors are encouraged to complement and enrich their initial submission, by adding sections to divide the content of their abstract (e.g.: introduction; methods; results). It is mandatory to include the bibliographic references in the extended abstract.

Extended Abstract submission officially opened on 05 May 2022 on the Ex Ordo platform, having ended on 08 July 2022.

Authors can also have their work published in the Special Issue of Journal of Coastal Conservation: Planning and Management. This SI is entitled Adapt Our Coast For a Sustainable Future. For that, a full paper must be submitted using the submission guidelines available on the journal's website.

Full Paper Submission guidelines:

• The paper submission will be done on the JCC website. 

• Click on the button "Submit manuscript" and you will be redirected to the JCC Editorial Manager website. You will have to register, by creating an account; and, then, you will login by clicking on "Author Login".

• You will be redirected to a new page, where you will click on "Submit New Manuscript" and follow the directions to complete the submission.

• During the submission process, the author has to answer if the article is part of a Special Issue. When you answer affirmatively, a drop-down menu will appear, and you will be able to choose the SI (Adapt Our Coast For a Sustainable Future).

Full Paper Submission ends on 30 November 2022. After this, the reviewing process will begin. Only authors whose Abstract will be presented at the Conference are able to submit the full paper.

By submitting the extended abstract and/or the paper, the author agrees to be reviewed by the Scientific Committee who will provide constructive criticism and comments and could request a second submission to the author.
