Coastal and Marine Union (EUCC) is a non-profit organization that focus on the sustainable use and development of the coastal strip and the sea.  Their aim is to promote coastal management by bridging the gap between scientists, environmentalists, site managers, planners and policy makers, it has grown into the largest network of coastal practitioners and experts in Europe 

Almada is a city and a municipality in Portugal, located on the southern margin of the Tagus River, on the opposite side of the river from Lisbon. The two cities are connected by the 25 de Abril Bridge.
